Subject: [LARTC] satellite ISP
Date: Fri, 15 Mar 2002 13:49:11 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <marc-lartc-101620025318949@msgid-missing> (raw)

Hello,

I'm running an ISP with about 5,000 users over a satellite link. We have
6Mbit down/1.5Mbit up, and would like to limit bandwidth to each of our
customers, with more speed given to certain IP addresses.

Does anyone have any experience with this sort of thing? Example tc scripts
etc? I've been playing around with CBQ but it's pretty slow going, and I
just wondered if someone would be kind enough to give me a headstart.

Thanks,

Gavin
