there is also bwm.  it is very basic though. not as advanced as iptraf 
or trafshow, but it gives kbytes in and out of the interfaces.  below is 
a snipit.

        Iface        RX(KB/sec)   TX(KB/sec)   Total(KB/sec)

           lo            0.000        0.000           0.000
         eth0           52.160       64.539         116.699
       dummy0            0.000        0.000           0.000
