ok, we're about to move to a small (256k) wireless internet setup,...we
have been warned not to do large amount of traffic...Basically we're
investing into a small linux-b0x ..that would act as a router and
shaper.
Basically I would like to limit uploads from a certain port (4000) and
possibly limit downloads from that port aswell... Using Linux (2.4.x)
setup.. Limit port 4000 to 2k upload/15k download (for example)
Router "192.168.0.1" -> Which sends traffic to all 3 pc's.
Computer A "10.0.0.1" Windows w2k
Computer B "10.0.0.2" Windows w2k
Computer C "10.0.0.3" Linux 2.4 (this b0x)
Ive read the docs, and found it pretty confusing...so many ways to do
things... whats the best way to do this.? some examples please :)
