Subject: [LARTC] HELP! routing question
Date: Fri, 15 Nov 2002 00:49:25 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <marc-lartc-103732157102869@msgid-missing> (raw)
How do I go about setting up a router in Linux so that my Linux box dishes
out public IP's. I have a C class of public IP's I am trying to share
bandwidth with other people in my building so I need them to go through the
Linux box so I can do bandwidth control.. I got the bandwidth control down
and it works in a NAT environment. But I need it to work without NAT on
public IP's
CISCO LINUX
ROUTER-------(eth0) BOX (eth1)-------HUB------END USER/CLIENTS
ETH0 7.38.111.1 ???
ETH1=???.???.???.???
END USER/CLIENTS= 207.38.111.10 - 250 and visable from the internet.
(must provide end user with public IP but go through LINUXBOX for CBQ
control.
I hope this make sence and I provided enough info.
