Subject: [LARTC] LARTC: Patching Kernel to use HTB
Date: Mon, 02 Dec 2002 16:01:31 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <marc-lartc-103884497432484@msgid-missing> (raw)

Hi again,

I'm still having problems installing htb on my system.
I've search the mail list for how to patch the kernel,
and no luck so far....

Having not done this before, this for me is difficult....

I have RedHat 7.3 with Kernel 2.4.18-10
I have the patch file:
  htb3.6_2.4.17.diff patch
I also have the tc binary from http://luxik.cdi.cz/~devik/qos/htb/

How do I patch my kernel please ?
Any other steps I need before I can then try using htb ?

Thanks in advance.
John Cushnie.
