Message-Id: List-Id: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit To: lartc@vger.kernel.org Hi, I want to clarify the above. 1. If i run "ethtool eth0" on my system, it's showing Speed: 10Mb/s. The ethtool is using the ioctl SIOCETHTOOL. 2. I've written some other program, which uses SIOCGIFINDEX ioctl, Then this program is giving the Link Bandwidth as 6 (may be in Kbps). The same program is giving the Link Bandwidth as 2 on my other collegues' systems. Conclusion: Shall i treat the '1' as the Device Bandwidth & '2' as the Rate (max allowable per user)? with regarding to CBQ. So, anybody please do make me clarify. regards, Srikanth. _______________________________________________ LARTC mailing list / LARTC@mailman.ds9a.nl http://mailman.ds9a.nl/mailman/listinfo/lartc HOWTO: http://lartc.org/
