Subject: [LARTC] Policy routing - tables not working
Date: Sun, 25 Mar 2001 17:50:09 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <marc-lartc-98554260026629@msgid-missing> (raw)

Hello,

Simple question.

When i place a route in 'main' table packets are sent. When i place the
same route in my table and make a rule to look up this table when
packets match rule, the packets are not sent ('network unreachable').

The rule mathces packets with fwmark 1
(ip rule fwmark 1 table mail)

table mail has a route to subnet 50/8 via 30.0.0.1
(ip route add 50/8 via 30.0.0.1)

Have checked and packets are being marked correctly.

Have tried policy rouign with source address and still did not work.

Using linux -2.3.99-pre7

Have set up /etc/iproute2/rt_tables file

Any help would be appreciated.

Greg.
