Subject: Can HotPlug replace cardmgr ?
Date: Mon, 18 Mar 2002 09:18:20 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <marc-linux-hotplug-101644317704204@msgid-missing> (raw)
The problem is that i have an ieee1394 cardbus card using ohci1394 driver.
This pcmcia driver is not supported since 2.4.8 kernel.
So, can I deactivate all the PCMCIA management, cardmgr and all the config files,
and use hotplug instead.
Now I use PCMCIA drivers for:
-floppy (floppy_cs)
-Network ("xirc2ps_cs or pcnet_cs)
-SCSI (aha152x_cs)
-IDE disk (ide-cs)
-firewire (ohci1394_cb)
