Subject: offtopic? getting the yopy bootloader through usb?
Date: Wed, 06 Nov 2002 17:48:49 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <marc-linux-hotplug-103660473311459@msgid-missing> (raw)

Hello!

i got finally my problem with the recognition of the yopy networking
solved trivially.... it only needed to set up the definition of an
 interface for the usb0 device.....

now i ma wondering about another thing... windows users are able to
update the kernel and filesystem of that PDA through usb, Linux users
only through an (expensive) serial cable.....

Now i am wondering if someone out there managed to get in touch with
the bootloader through the usb connection...
(the updates have imperatively to be done through the bootloader...)
