Subject: problems with hotplug/udev and wacom tablet
Date: Mon, 20 Oct 2003 01:52:41 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <marc-linux-hotplug-106661509530853@msgid-missing> (raw)
I've got a wacom graphire2, running kernel -test8, udev .3, and hotplug 1.1.
When I plug the tablet into the usb hub, I get the following:
Oct 19 21:46:57 doug kernel: hub 2-1:1.0: new USB device on port 1,
assigned address 5
Oct 19 21:46:57 doug udev[2187]: main: version 003_bk
Oct 19 21:46:57 doug udev[2187]: main: no device?
Oct 19 21:46:57 doug kernel: hid: probe of 2-1.1:1.0 failed with error -5
Oct 19 21:46:57 doug udev[2209]: main: version 003_bk
Oct 19 21:46:57 doug udev[2209]: main: looking at
/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:07.3/usb2/2-1/2-1.1/2-1.1:1.0
Oct 19 21:46:57 doug udev[2209]: main: not block or class
Oct 19 21:46:57 doug kernel: input: Wacom Graphire on usb-0000:00:07.3-1.1
Oct 19 21:46:59 doug udev[2212]: main: version 003_bk
Oct 19 21:46:59 doug udev[2212]: main: looking at
/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:07.3/usb2/2-1/2-1.1
Oct 19 21:46:59 doug udev[2212]: main: not block or class
Unfortunately, since nothing shows up in "class", it doesn't get picked
up by udev.
Anyone have any ideas?
