Subject: USB Joystick not recognized correctly
Date: Mon, 20 Oct 2003 11:17:57 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <marc-linux-hotplug-106664967623635@msgid-missing> (raw)
Hello,
When using kernel 2.4.22 and hotlug from debian unstable (and
probably all versions before) I am not able to use joysticks
properly.
A USB Joystick is recognized by hotplug as HID device. All
Modules except the joydev module are loaded. If I modprobe joydev
by hand everything works as expected.
Since I don't understand how hotplug identifies usb devices
using distmap/handmap etc I cannot create a patch.
Regards
