Subject: problem with /etc/hotplug/usb.distmap ?
Date: Fri, 16 Feb 2001 07:23:26 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <marc-linux-hotplug-98230852402005@msgid-missing> (raw)

IMHO, there is one column missing in /etc/hotplug/usb.distmap, maybe one of
bcdDevice_lo, bcdDevice_hi. And at least for acm module it seems that
bDeviceClass and bDeviceProtocol are swapped.

Is the format of usb.distmap special or is it just supposed to be a copy of
/lib/modules/2.4.x/modules.usbmap for kernel with all USB modules compiled?

I know that usb.distmap is not so much important, but there are still some
people who use both 2.2.x kernel and USB (don't laugh at us ;-)
