Subject: Why isn't aic7xxx showing up in the pcimodules list?
Date: Sun, 25 Feb 2001 20:13:14 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <marc-linux-hotplug-98313185120316@msgid-missing> (raw)

I have an Adaptec AHA-2930CU in my machine. I boot from
a drive on my AMD-756 IDE interface. I built aic7xxx
support as a module and have all the latest hotplug script
stuff installed, including the patched pcimodules.

pcimodules reports:

	emu10k1
	3c59x
	usb-ohci

And each of these drivers get loaded fine at boot time
by pci.rc.

I am wondering why aic7xxx isn't showing up. Obviously,
the hotplug system isn't setting up the scsi interface
for me.

	Miles
