Date: Mon, 25 Jun 2001 18:35:07 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <marc-linux-ia64-105590693005757@msgid-missing> (raw)

Hi all,
When i tried to write in to a MSR in kernel mode,
the kernel is dumping a illegal operation fault. Are
there any special steps to ensure that MSR writes dont
generate such faults ?. Any help is appreciated..

Thanks
Krishna
