Hi,
as you may have noticed, Justin Gibbs has published a new version of
the aic7xxx driver on the driver home page
(http://people.freebsd.org/~gibbs/linux/).
I have run a pretty tough test
on the new driver over the weekend, and I can say the trouble I had
with the previous version have definitely gone (no new troubles, either).
(I actually tested the 6.2.0-beta1 version of the driver, the page now has
6.2.0 as well).
I recommend all IA-64 users to upgrade the aic7xxx driver.
Martin
