my friends:

These months i have great fun exploring linux system, but recently i was
bored
by the following matter:

i started workman under X11 ,it found my music cd tracks in my ide
cdrom.
but when i played the sounds couldn't come out. but i can play it well
under win95.

i have configure my system so far:

my sound card is ess pnp card,i use isapnptools to configure it well,
even i can play mp3 decoder--splay to enjoy songs.

when i first started workman,it couldn't find my cdrom,so i linked
/dev/cdrom to my cdrom device /dev/hdc,then workman could find my
music cd , but it didn't sing out.

who can help me to solve this?
