I use the alsamixer and I use aplay to play *.au, *.wav, and so on.
The sound is very good. When I using (by example) the workman,
I set the device to /dev/hdd (where my CD-ROM is). Then the
workman play the CD, there is no signal in the line out of the
back, but if I plug in the front of the CD-drive, I can heart the
music normally. I can also change the track of the CD and the
other functions of the workman.
