Is this a bug? 

I get the following message when I boot with 
cs4232 built into the kernel:

   ad1848/cs4248 codec driver Copyright (C) by Hannu Savolainen
1993-1996
   cs4232.c: I/O port 0xffffffff not free

Here's what I have in lilo.conf:

   image=/boot/vmlinuz-2.4.0-test1-ac10
	label=test1-ac10
	read-only
	root=/dev/hda5
	append="cs4232=0x530,5,1,3,0x330,9"

Here are my sound options:

   CONFIG_SOUND=y
   CONFIG_SOUND_OSS=y
   CONFIG_SOUND_TRACEINIT=y
   CONFIG_SOUND_CS4232=y
