Message-ID: <marc-linux-sound-96331961124504@msgid-missing> (raw)
I have RedHat 6.2, kernel 2.2.14-5, SB Live! (emu10k1 loaded as module)
working perfectly for .wav and .mp3.
How to hear midi files with all the samples/instruments working?
I can only hear guitar and a few instruments with KMidi and other Midi
players. Some Midi editors/players will not even work (Jazz is an example).
Is that a limitation of Linux, of KMidi, or of my soundboard under Linux
(lack of proper drivers, etc)?
I want to hear all instruments in General Midi but it seems they are missing.
What should I do? I can't provide more information for now, since I can't
even start to think about what could be wrong.
Thanks in advance.
