Hi all,
I am running RedHat 6.2 on an Ultra1 and cannot get a printer working on
the parallel port.
The printer is an HP 5MP - it works on other systems but nothing I have
tried will get it recognised by Linux. Printtool does warn that
auto-detect might not work on SPARC architecture (and it obviously
doesn't) but trying such things as creating printcap entries and so on
seems not to work.
Does anybody have any suggestions?
Regards,
Ralphe Neill
