Hi!

Following things have changes in UP1.1 beta:

update to kernel 2.1.99 (should fix a couple of bugs with Ultra5 machines,
plus one ugly bug which sometimes killed applications during fork - now
there are no known bugs, just to make assure you)

update to glibc-2.0.7pre3 plus sparc patches (please, if you can, test
whether this update does not break anything, I haven't seen any problem, but
the more people, the more proper testing).

ld.so: ld-linux.so.1 and libc5 apps now should work on both sparc32 and
	sparc64, not only on sparc64

mouseconfig: I hope the lockup during serial installation is gone, but
things about probing Xserver need still to be solved (for now, don't
install Xservers when doing serial console installs - hope to fix
	this tomorrow)

joe: fix a bug in joe, which caused improper screen size detection

procps: update to 1.2.7, fixed a bug in procps which caused it not to work
	with shared libs

other minor updates:
	lpr, hdparm, strace, texinfo, ypbind

The colors in SBUS Xservers are not yet fixed (well, I have a patch which
fixes it, but am waiting for a fix for Mach64/16+32bpp colormap handling to
make a shiny new XFree86-3.3.2 RPMS).
Then, modutils need to be fixed wrt. kerneld, and then I'd like if people
can remind me on broken packages, so that we can have a release in a week or
so.
And if the sparcaudio people help us, we can have full sound support in the
distribution as well ;) Then just T-shirt time and CD burning time...

Cheers,
    Jakub
