Subject: signal 11 installing UP 1.0.9
Date: Mon, 08 Jun 1998 03:53:08 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <marc-linux-ultrasparc-90222357630992@msgid-missing> (raw)
Hi all, Jakub, Dave..
I have just tried (twice) to install UltraPenguin 1.0.9 on my Sparc5/170
and both times, part way through the package installation, I get this:
install exited abnormally -- received signal 11
sending termination signals...done
sending kill signals...done
unmounting filesystems...
/mnt/usr
/mnt/var
/proc
/mnt/
you may safely reboot your system
(it happened at different points each time, so I don't think it is a
particular package which is causing it)
I've looked at the various alt-F2 etc screens and there is nothing unusual
logged.
I have installed UP1.0.9 on a Classic previously without a problem.
any idea what might be happening?
thanks,
grant.
