Subject: SILO problems with UltraPenguin on a SparcStation 2
Date: Thu, 02 Jul 1998 15:42:44 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <marc-linux-ultrasparc-90222358530990@msgid-missing> (raw)

Hi,

I just loaded the latest ultrapenguin distribution from
sunsite.unc.edu and when the installation gets to the point
of loading SILO, it fails with "Resource Busy".

One more piece of history: I had previously installed the
4.2 Redhat code on that machine without problems. SILO in 4.2
had problems though, but trying to boot "boot linux" usually
succeeded form then open prom.

Currently, my machine dies after printing SI at the open prom.

Anyone seen this before?

Any help will be appreciated a lot.

Thanks in advance

rv
