Can you try to boot 2.1.106 kernel? Just extract the image from
kernel-2.1.106-1.sparc64.rpm, then extract the elftoaout utility from
.src.rpm and compile it (it should run anywhere).
I cannot give you latest kernel from CVS, as the console stuff rewrite is
not finished yet.
