Subject: Getting onto your mailing list and SILO...
Date: Fri, 14 Aug 1998 12:34:28 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <marc-linux-ultrasparc-90309336020589@msgid-missing> (raw)

Hi!

We are trying to install UltraPenguin onto a SPARC 5.. we have got most of
the install going by using the sun4u.img from the contrib/misc directory.

However, when silo tries to install we get the message

Fatal error: Couldn't find what device is second stage on.

This appears to come from silocheck, as when we try this on the kernel
image we get a very similar message.

Any ideas?

Oh, and how do we get onto this mailing list?

Thanks in advance,

Phil
