Subject: Creator 3D problem

Message-ID: <marc-linux-ultrasparc-90778041005375@msgid-missing> (raw)
I have not yet installed linux on my Ultra, however I will as soon as
I have the distribution downloaded. The question I have is about the
Creator 3D graphics card. I have downloaded, compiled, and installed
X11R6.4 under Solaris 2.5.1, but have been unable to use the X server
because it won't run with the Creator 3D graphics card. How can
UltraLinux have support for the Creator 3D graphics card, but not
X11R6.4? Could I compile XFree86 and use the Creator 3D Xserver under
Solaris?
