The new version of SILO, available from ftp://ultra.linux.cz/OS/Linux/Sparc/local/silo/silo-0.8.1.tgz should make initial ramdisks working. Please test as much as you can. I'll be pushing the SILO rpms plus new sparcified mkinitrd into UltraPenguin distribution by tomorrow.
