Subject: Still no go with 10mb on 100mb card
Date: Tue, 03 Nov 1998 11:29:08 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <marc-linux-ultrasparc-91009247508389@msgid-missing> (raw)
just downloaded the newest rpms etc.
and reinstalled the ultralinux
but the same as with my own compiled kernel:
no go with the sun happy meal on eth0 (on the scsi/ethernet pci board)
it's connected to a cable modem at 10mbit/sec half duplex
and it gives ethernet time outs
eth1 (the onboard sun happy meal) works ok at 100mbit full duplex
whats up ?
( i'm still stuck at kernel 2.1.109)
cause after that console display disapeared
and when i then tried to compile the newest one (after my vacation)
i had no go with the ethernet :((
