Subject: Has anyone got a bootable UltraLinux CD?
Date: Wed, 11 Nov 1998 22:56:04 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <marc-linux-ultrasparc-91084837731037@msgid-missing> (raw)
Hi folks,
Since Jakub has put the image on his site, we have tried several times
to get it, so we could generate a bootable CD. The best we could do so
far is about 574MB of the 625 Mb image, but we're still trying again
this evening.
Has anyone in this community been successful in getting or generating a
bootable CD and would like to share in their success? We'd like to get
one and generate some copies - we have lots of interest here, and I
suspect there are many more who would also like one. I am not sure how
fast or how many we can generate internally - somewhat limited, I'm
sure, so I cannot volunteer to populate the entire community. However,
EIS Computers has volunteered to generate CD's for $20 or less each if
they can get the image in house, so that should help.
Thanks,
Dave
