Subject: "unified" audio snapshot available
Date: Mon, 16 Nov 1998 20:27:14 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <marc-linux-ultrasparc-91127768025797@msgid-missing> (raw)

Hi,

I just dropped a new audio snapshot to ftp.dementia.org:
ftp://ftp.dementia.org/pub/linux/sparc/audio/audio-2.0.35-981116.tar.gz

The name is a misnomer; This one *does* work on my Ultra 1 running
Ultrapenguin 1.1. Still no DBRI support, still no Ebus (PCI Ultra) audio
support; Someone else is working on DBRI, and I expect to get at a newer
Ultra later in the week.

Whether you're running 2.0 or 2.1, please give this a try if you have a
machine with an AMD or 4231/APC in it; You can find a complete list at
http://www.dementia.org/~shadow/sparcaudio.html

Feedback welcome, but as I said, no DBRI, no 4231/ebus.
