Greg,

Please send this bug report to ultralinux@vger.rutgers.edu.   This is the 
kind of feedback they need - the experiences of users.

That alias is monitored by the guys who are doing the port, among many 
others.  They will look at it and should be able to reply fairly quickly, 
in my experience, and are in a position to do something about it or supply 
a possible workaround.  

Also, you might give Eric Brower a call (62313) - he is working on this 
version too and has a number of platforms, so he might already have news 
on it.
