Each Network connection of a host (not only ethernet) must be in a different subnet. There is one exception: If you want to bridge between 2 segments, you must have the network devices in the same subnet. But I dont think Flavio wants to do that :-). But another question to Flavio: are all interfaces recognized by the machine? What does a ifconfig say?
