I have Solaris installed on the internal IDE disk, but have an external SCSI disk with plenty of space. I have a bootable CD, and I can boot from it from the OK prompt. But the graphical installer fails, and when I try a text install it doesn't give me an option of "fdisk"-ing the scsi disk, just the IDE one. Ideas and/or suggestions I used this ISO file ls -l *.iso -rw-r--r-- 1 root other 679903232 Apr 4 13:23 mandrake70.usparc.iso Thanks Kevin \\\|/// \\ - - // ( @ @ ) +---------------------oOOo-(_)-oOOo-------------------------+ | Kevin Maguire Unix Support | | kmaguire@eso.orgk European Southern Observatory | | Tel:+49 (0)89 3200 6387 Karl-Schwarzschild-Strasse 2 | | Fax:+49 (0)89 3200 6380 D-85748 Garching bei Muenchen | +-----------------------------Oooo--------------------------+ oooO ( ) ( ) ) / \ ( (_/ \_)
