thanks! now committed on cvs.
the spdif output on my terratec x-fire seems working fine now, at
least for the normal playback. however, if i stop the playback in the
middle, it results in a constant beep. does happen on another card?
also, ac3dec seems not working yet on the card.
this could be due to another reason, though.
