Any chance to try another machine with the same model? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- shensche - 07-08-05 12:34 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- well, we actually ordered a second machine together with the first one, slightly differently configured for the use in a car. unfortunately, the second one has an EPIA-MII, not an EPIA-M. there the sound works. i already tried the "hard" disk from the working system in the non-working, but to no avail. the problem with shipping another one is that i am here in Mali: that means shipping is very expensive and very slow. the first client (a radio station in the Sahara) will be equipped with the machine in approx. 2 weeks and it is crucial to them that the sound works.
