Summary:                    cs46xx in Thinkapad A21m after suspend/resume
doesn't play
Description: 
When I suspend to Ram and resume cs46xx stop working. If I rmmod modprobe
snd_cs46xx sound start working, but If I do this often comp sometime
freeze when I try suspend to RAM.

Hi, I am struggling with the same problem for T21 on Ubuntu Breezy and now
on Dapper with Alsa 1.0.11 (see bug
https://bugtrack.alsa-project.org/alsa-bug/view.php?id=305). If you have
any patch which avoids killing all sound applications, I will be glad to
try it out. This is the most annoying bug for me.

Still fails with 1.0.11rc4 as in vanilla 2.6.17-rc2

However, it is duplicate of 536, 226 and 305
