alsmixer starts, but no sound.

Same problem here. Modules loaded but no sound.
I tried all models (even cmi while my card is supposed to be a realtek
ALC880.)
tested with 1.0.8, 1.0.9rc2, cvs.

After some tweakings (don't ask me exactly what I did, I changed lots of
stuff), I've got it working.
Some problems though. Headphone and my laptop speaker are not working.
"Front" output works but there is lot of noise.
"Surround" "Center/LFE" don't work. It might be normal as "Front" is not
plugged.
I can't test inputs.
