The chipset is a Realtek ALC880 with a Uniwill subsystem. With the previous version of ALSA (1.0.9b), I had the LineIn/Speakers mixup issue. That problem is now fixed with the 1.0.10rc1 version (and previously with a CVS), but now the PC Speaker is muted and doesn't apear on AlsaMixer. I'm using ALSA 1.0.10rc1 drivers + libs + oss + utils. Another thing! Does this sound card support multiplexing? Either by hardware, or if ALSA can achieve that by software. I'm having trouble playing more than one sound at the same time, and all the things I've read until now, didn't help me :-\ If more information is needed, just let me know :-) Cheers, Quetzy Garcia ====================================================================== Issue History Date Modified Username Field Change ====================================================================== 08-22-05 20:53 quetzyg New Issue 08-22-05 20:53 quetzyg Distribution => Slackware 10.1 08-22-05 20:53 quetzyg Kernel Version => 2.6.12.5 ====================================================================== ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference & EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile & Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects & Teams * Testing & QA Security * Process Improvement & Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf
