Subject: Midi oss compat no longer works in ALSA 1.0.9b!
Date: Tue, 08 Nov 2005 22:22:53 -0600	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <4371799D.6000201@charter.net> (raw)

Hello,

I just upgraded from ALSA 0.9.6 to 1.0.9b. Whenever I try
to use /dev/music and send data to it, I get nothing out.
My sound card is an Audigy-2. I'm using the external MIDI
port, the same as always (worked great in 0.9.6).

Did something change drastically such that I need to tweak my
setup?

Thanks,

Matt K.
