I violently agree and I'm usuallly someone who considers anti-spam measures about as annoying as spam itself. alsa-devel has become to a very high degree unreadable and someone who isn't already very certain (s)he wants to be here is not going to stay on this list (and become/remain involved with alsa) given these levels of spam, meaning this situation is not good for alsa. As others have said, linux-kernel seems to be doing the right thing and alsa-devel@vger.kernel.org sounds great. postmaster@vger.kernel.org added to the CC. Would vger mind hosting the list?
