ALSA mode on openal gives me no sound. It looks like it is mute, but it is not. 2. Most of tests in openal-cvs have too fast sound. armyops (americas army) game have too fast sound with aoss. Because ALSA mode on openal doesn't work for me I use aoss wrapper. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- tiwai - 05-19-05 14:12 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Hmm, the silence of alsa mode seems to be a bug of openal. Anyway, try ALSA 1.0.9rc3 if you use dmix before stepping deeply into the debuggin. Many bugs have been fixed regarding it. Don't forget to update all drivers, lib and alsa-oss stuff.
