Could you give more explanations why your patch is required what it
does? Please resubmit with the proper patch description.
And, at the next time, please submit to linux-sound@vger.kernel.org
instead of alsa-devel ML. alsa-devel ML is mostly for user-space
stuff while the former is for the kernel patches.
