Anyway, why did you assume this device is supported, if it's not in the soundcard matrix? I guess you want it added to the matrix as "partially supported"? Re: the ACPI issue this sounds like a kernel or BIOS bug. Try updating the BIOS and if you still have the problem then report it on bugzilla.kernel.org.
