your patch are adjust the watermark before unnder occur  to prevent glitch ,
not as you said "PA adjust watermark until underrun occur"

is allocated to refilling the ring buffer."

This model cannot be called as "Glitch free model" ,

A "Glicth free model" have to prevent any underrun occur at any time
