Hello,
The iFi Zen DAC 3, confirmed as a high-speed device, is failing to
report its full capabilities via |aplay --dump-hw-params| (it hangs),
and audio playback defaults to the |S16_LE| format in
|/proc/asound/.../hw_params| even for 24-bit sources.

*Reproduction Steps:*
*
Disable PipeWire services (|systemctl --user stop ...|).
*
Run |aplay -D hw:X,Y --dump-hw-params| (Hangs).
*
Start 24-bit audio in Strawberry.
*
Output of |cat /proc/asound/.../hw_params| shows |format: S16_LE|.

*Key Diagnostic:* When forcing the format with |aplay -D hw:X,Y -f
S32_LE ...|, the playback is successful and |hw_params| correctly shows
|format: S32_LE|.
