I have already converted this to a alsa driver 1y ago for my private use.
Now I don't use the laptop with chip anymore.

Anyone interested in the code (patch against kernel 2.6.10)?

Yes, sure, please.

I'm wondering which functionality is missing in the current ALSA code...
