Even the magic SysRq key won't do anything. I have no way to debug through the serial port so I don't know if anything is written to the system log - at least nothing is written so that it would get shown on the screen. This occurs after playing a MIDI song (for example) for a while - sometimes after a few seconds, sometimes after a few minutes. Usually it takes 1-2 minutes to reproduce the lockup. This is a major annoyance since it is not possible to compose anything on the system due to the lockups. ====================================================================== ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Vesuri - 02-20-06 20:42 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Occurs also with Linux 2.6.14.7 (ALSA 1.0.10rc1). SND_SEQ_RTCTIMER_DEFAULT does not seem to make a difference. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Vesuri - 02-20-06 20:55 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Ouch, I was too hasty. 2.6.13.5 locked up as well.
