when I try to confugure the alsa driver with alsaconf on my sony vaio I
obtain this error:

I've attached modprobe.conf file

alsaconf should be completely unnecessary unless you have an old ISA card -
hotplug/udev should load the correct driver automatically.

Try omitting the --with-kernel argument, the build should detect the
kernel source directory.
