I suspect that 2.6.35 kernels were OK but I'm trying to compile the drivers from that era with little success. I'm cloning alsa-driver and alsa-kernel, and while I can checkout v2.6.35 in alsa-kernel OK, it's nigh on impossible to checkout the corresponding alsa-driver. I can't help but feel I'm missing a trick here, so figured I'd ask first before banging my head against a wall for several hours.
