good.
the only concern is whether snd_ymfpci_ac3_init/_done is properly
handled.  could you check (by adding printk in these routines, for
example) whether these functions are called only once per open/close
devices?
also, could you check multiple playbacks?

this is even possible without my patch.
the pcm device #2 (hw:0,2) to play from rear speaker.  this is aliased
as "rear".  so in the case of aplay,
	aplay foo.wav
		=> front (or 4ch if "4ch Dup" switch is on)
	aplay -Drear foo.wav
		=> rear only
